Foundation Tinted moisturiser
Unless absolutely necessary, ditch full coverage and opt for a tinted moisturiser instead – you won’t need to be as precise about blending it in. For a seamless application in no time at all, use a damp beauty sponge. But your fingers should do the trick as well.
Step 2: Concealer
Use your ring finger to gently pat your concealer under the eye and around the nose – the heat from your fingertip will warm the product and help it blend in better. Quickly set with a light dusting of some translucent powder to avoid creases later.
Step 3: Brows
Grooming your brows is probably the most important step of any make-up look. Take 30 seconds to fill in any spaces by using an angled brush, dark brown eyeshadow and a light touch so you can avoid unnecessary mistakes. An eyeshadow is easier to handle (and fix) than brow gel, especially when you’re in a hurry.
Step 4: Blusher
Smile! Now pat a warm peachy hue onto the apples of your cheeks. For a healthy glow, be sure to take the colour up towards your temples.
Step 5: Mascara
Only apply mascara to the top lashes. Start at the roots and wiggle the brush from side to side as you move towards the tips for extra va-va-voom.
TOP TIP: Don’t use a brand new mascara for this as it won’t give you the coverage you need in just two coats.
Step 6: Lipstick
Choose a peachy shade similar to your blusher and dab it on using your finger – the pressure of your finger will help plump up your lips a bit too.
One final sweep of setting powder, or a spritz of setting spray, to lock your look in place and you are ready to dash!
