Looking for a homemade face mask for oily skin? Strawberry leaves as well as the fruit, make a brilliant astringent face mask. Mashed, fresh strawberries spread evenly over your face for 10 to 20 minutes while you relax in the bath make an excellent face mask for oily skin. Mixed with rolled oats, they make a superb cleanser for spotty skin.
This strawberry face mask is particularly good for oily and problem skin, as well as flaky skin. You will be surprised at how easy it is to make! Follow these simple steps.
- Brew up 250ml (1 cup) of fresh strawberry leaves and sliced strawberries in 750ml (3 cups) of boiling water.
- Stand and stir.
- Cool, then strain.
- Use as a face mask and the remaining ‘tea’ as a lotion.
- Leave on for 10-20 minutes and then wash off!
It’s that easy!
