1. Prime of life
Primer is your BFF – this is the magic 1 ingredient that keeps your foundation in place. A good one will also help reduce shine: exactly what you need when it’s hot outside. The best ones have a silicon base and added SPF. And don’t forget to prime your eyelids, too!
2. Keep it light
A heavy foundation is more likely to melt so go for a light formula, like a BB or CC cream, or tinted moisturiser. Apply a light base to your entire face before concealing dark spots, blemishes and under-eye bags.
You might want to forego any powders because, when wet, they tend to cake, drawing attention to those fine lines. Opting for a cream blush could be a lifesaver in this case. 4. No more tears

If your face is on the dewy (read: sweaty) side, your eyelashes could get wet too, leading to smudgy panda eyes. After all, you don’t want anyone at the party thinking you’ve got the gin blues…

5. Get set, go!
Now, it might feel as if you’re simply spraying water on your face, but a setting spray really can make all the difference. Think of it as a spray-on glue for your make-up. It wouldn’t hurt to keep this clever little spray in your handbag, as it will reset your make-up as the day goes by, while simultaneously cooling you off and keeping your skin hydrated. Win-win!
