You will need:
- Almond cookie dough (click here for the biscuit recipe)
- Royal icing
- Piping bag
- Roll out the dough, then cut out hearts. Make a small hole in the top for the ribbon. Put them on a baking tray and pop in the fridge for 15 minutes before baking, to ensure they keep their shape.
- Pipe names on the baked cookies with the royal icing. When dry, thread with a cute gingham ribbon.
You can even hang these on the tree as edible tree decorations. Or just bake a batch to give as a gift.
