Straightening out curly hair can be a hassle but it’s nothing deep conditioning and a good quality flat iron can’t fix. Divide your hair into to small section when applying any product. This will make your hair a lot more manageable and will also minimize heat damage.
As silk pressing does not require any hair straightening chemicals, maintain your straight hair by keeping it away from moisture and wrapping it with a silk scarf at night. Famous talk-show co-host Adrienne Bailon provides a detailed tutorial on how to go from curly to straight on her Youtube channel-All Things Adrienne

Bantu it up
Actress Yara Shahidi has never been one to shy away from trying something different with her natural hair. The gorgeous actress wore her Bantu knots in style at this year’s Paris Fashion Week.
These knots are made by dividing your hair into small sections and tying up those sections into ponytails. Divide each ponytail into two. Once you have your two pieces of hair in your hands, begin a two-strand twist. After twisting the two strands, you can now form a knot by twisting your hair in clockwise motion till it forms the perfect Bantu knot. To secure your knot, you can use a bobby pin or tuck it under the knot.
No matter the texture your hair is, Flexi-rods work wonders for the perfect curl. This method may be quite tricky for first-timers but we guarantee it is a lot simpler than it looks.
When using Flexi-rods, it’s best to use small to medium sections of hair. Start at the bottom of your hair, and wrap the ends around the Flexi-rod. Twist your hair around the rod working your way from the bottom to the top. To ensure the Flexi-rod stays secured, bending it down once.
