As the weather cools down we can’t think of a better time to snuggle up with some light-hearted films. These two Disney movies will give the kids endless thrills and laughs.
1. One for all, and all for fun!
Disney’s Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day (out now) follows the exploits of 11-year-old Alexander (Ed Oxenbould) as he experiences the most terrible, horrible day of his young life — a day that begins with gum stuck in his hair, followed by one calamity after another. But when Alexander tells his upbeat family about the misadventures of his disastrous day, he finds little sympathy and begins to wonder if bad things only happen to him. He soon learns that he’s not alone when his mom (Jennifer Garner), dad (Steve Carell), brother (Dylan Minnette) and sister (Kerris Dorsey) all find themselves living through their own terrible, horrible, no good, very bad days.
2. Tots, tales and, of course, Tinker Bell.
Disneytoon Studios returns to Pixie Hollow with the heart-warming adventure, Tinker Bell and the Legend of the NeverBeast (out now). The story explores the ancient myth of a fabled creature whose distant roar sparks the curiosity of Tinker Bell’s friend Fawn (voiced by Ginnifer Goodwin), a fairy who’s not afraid to break the rules to help an animal in need. But this animal — massive and strange with glowing green eyes — is not welcome in Pixie Hollow. Fawn, who sees a tender heart beneath his gruff exterior, must convince Tink (voiced by Mae Whitman) and the girls to risk everything to rescue the NeverBeast before time runs out.
