Delish, a farm stall in Glenwood, Durban is switching it up and updating what we as shoppers have come to expect from both farm stalls and grocery stores alike.
When you think ‘farm stall‘, the picture that pops into mind is one of long road trips to a small produce stand in the middle of nowhere, or early Sunday morning farmers’ markets with busy make-shift aisles. But farm stall in the city, Delish, has other ideas.
With a new and trendy ‘glam’ take on the traditional farm stall, Delish has all sorts of farm fresh produce. Priding themselves on supporting local communities, Delish only sources its produce from no further than the provincial boundaries of KwaZulu-Natal. This means that along with super fresh produce, the carbon output that comes along with food transportation is kept as low as possible.
Delish has a range of fresh produce on offer such as eggs, fresh bread, milk so fresh it has cream on top and other dairy products. Along with the fresh produce, Delish also offers preserves such as pickled onions and chilli pastes, as well as chocolate from the Drakensberg and export quality coffee, as an added bonus. With choice like this, it’s almost guaranteed that you’ll find what you’re looking for.
Delish is open from 7am–7pm on weekdays and 7am–2pm on Saturdays.
