South African couple Myrtle Clark and Julian Stobbs are going to the courts to get the use of dagga legalised (after being charged with possession and dealing of marijuana 7 years ago).
Now, we suggest you set aside your feelings on whether dagga should be legalised or not, and take a moment to appreciate the craziness of this video.
The video was recorded by an EWN reporter who asks Myrtle “What do you say about the sentiment that it’s a gateway drug to harder drugs?”
Myrtle’s response starts on a high note with an eye roll so pronounced that we’re surprised she didn’t suffer ocular damage. She then goes on to defend dagga use, but the real highlight of the video starts at around 0:55, when she recommends people stop asking that question and visit their website to find the answer instead.
At 1:04 things take a turn for the worse, when Myrtle appears to be possessed by a spirit and hisses threateningly at the reporter “Don’t ever ask me that question again”.
This is DEFINITELY one video where you really do need to watch until the end!

Of course, Twitter had a field day when the video was shared. Our favourite response so far is this one:

We predict screenshots of Myrtle are going to be turned into memes in about 5 minutes.
