Make popcorn for movie night extra-special with this treat of a recipe!
- 1 apple, cored
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- ½ cup popcorn kernels or 1 pack plain microwaveable popcorn
- 2 tbsp melted butter
- 2 tsp brown sugar
- Heat the oven to 160°C. Slice the apple into fine rounds and put on a baking tray. Sprinkle with half of the cinnamon and bake for 45 min until golden, turning halfway through cooking.
- Pop the popcorn as per the packet instructions, then tip into a large bowl and toss with the melted butter, sugar and remaining cinnamon.
- Stir in the baked-apple crisps and serve immediately. Delish!
Top tip! Want a really sweet treat? Heat 2 tbsp syrup and drizzle over popcorn, then add a pinch of salt.
