Gluten-free apple & oat crunchies
- 225g butter
- 225g castor sugar
- 175g golden syrup
- 450g gluten-free oats
- 2 diced apples
- ½ tsp ground cinnamon
- Melt the butter in a pan with the castor sugar and golden syrup. Take off the heat and stir in the oats, diced apples and cinnamon.
- Spread the mix in a 20×30-cm, baking paper-lined tin and bake at 180°C for 30–35 minutes until crisp and golden. Leave to cool before cutting into 12 bars.
