Sun International will be hosting a concert, on 4 November, at their new venue in the Menlyn Maine Precinct, called Time Square. Time Square is home to the Sun Arena, Tshwane’s first indoor arena that’ll seat 8 500 people.
To celebrate the opening of the Sun Arena, Time Square has put together a spectacular production, Unison, supported by a line-up of amazing local artists.
The line-up includes Lira, Yvonne Chaka Chaka, PJ Powers, Zonke, Jimmy Nevis, Vusi Nova, Sasha-Lee Davids, Karen Zoid, Jeremy Oliver, and more. Plus, musical legend Miriam Makeba will be inducted into the South African Hall of Fame at the show.
‘We want a full house of passionate fans of South African music to share the auspicious milestone of opening Tshwane’s first arena. We are pulling out all the stops to create an audio-visual spectacular that will live long in the memories and hearts of those who share the occasion with us,’ says Brett Hoppé, general manager at Time Square.
